As the year 2020 came to a close, Brazil's mobile game enthusiasts showed a keen interest in pair puzzle applications. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data provides us with a glimpse into the performance of the top five pair puzzle apps during the fourth quarter.

HIGGS TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED's Tile Connect - Classic Match experienced a remarkable increase in downloads, soaring to 368K in the last week of December from 33K at the beginning of the quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, reaching over 533K in the same period. Revenue peaked notably in the first week of December, hitting just over $640.

The same publisher's Tile Master - Classic Match also saw a significant rise in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads jumped from 105K to 329K by the end of December, while the number of active users increased from 675K to an impressive 1.2M.

Lion Studios Plus's Match 3D showed a strong performance in the revenue department, with a notable increase from $297 in late September to over $2K in the final week of the year. The app's downloads and active users also saw substantial growth, with downloads peaking at 282K and active users at over 1M by year's end.

Tile Fun, by games mint, had a fluctuating quarter but ended on a positive note, with downloads reaching 89K and active users at 441K in the last week of December. Although revenue saw some variation, it ended the quarter on a high of $91.

Lastly, Spearmint Games's Poly Match maintained a steady base of active users, hovering around the 118K mark toward the end of December. Downloads saw a slight decrease from the start of the quarter, settling at 29K.
